Based solely on the criteria of location, condos in oceanfront communities fetch prices which are significantly higher than properties with inland locations. As shown in the chart for median sold price per square foot, the 2023 price for oceanfront condos was $1,552/sqft which is 45% higher than communities just across the street from the ocean ($1,064/sqft) and a staggering 80% higher than other inland condos ($861/sqft).

The median sold price for one bedroom oceanfront condos in 2023 was $942,500 which was 57% higher than a comparable unit with an inland location. Prices for two bedroom oceanfront units are consistently above $1M and the 2023 median sold price reached $1,600,000 which is 141% higher than condos with inland locations.
